Professor Daniel E. Fox, J.D.

Daniel E. Fox currently serves as the chair of the Department of Marketing/Hospitality Management/Fashion Merchandising. Dr. Fox is an assistant professor of law, teaching both undergraduate and graduate business courses. He is an Ohio Licensed Attorney and Certified Public Accountant. Dr. Fox joined the University in 2004 and has served in various positions including associate dean and director of entrepreneurship for the Dauch College of Business & Economics. He received the degree of Jurist Doctor from the Ohio Northern School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and political science from Ohio Northern University. Prior to joining Ashland University, he consulted for the world's largest oil company, Saudi Aramco, in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Fox also worked for the "Big Eight" accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand and the law firm of Emens, Hurd, Kegler & Ritter, where he practiced business and tax law. He continues to consult with startup and entrepreneurial companies providing legal, accounting and operational advice.

Professor Elad Granot, Ph.D
Professor of Marketing, Dean

Dr. Granot is Dean of the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University. Prior to his current role, he was Dean of the College of Business Administration at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He also served as Assistant Dean at the Monte Ahuga College of Business at Cleveland State University where he oversaw MBA programs and worked extensively with online learning. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, an MS in Marketing and Management from Boston University, and a BA from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Granot has over 25 years of management, administration, and leadership experience in a variety of military, business, and academic institutions. He has served as an executive in large multinational organizations in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Israel and has spoken extensively to diverse groups of managers, companies, and executives around the globe on various business topics. Dr. Granot has advised numerous companies, start-ups, and non-profits on strategic marketing, branding strategies, marketing research, customer service, and competitive positioning. Dr. Granot possesses a wealth of academic and professional experience, including a record of effective and inspiring leadership, proven management and financial skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. He has a multifaceted skillset, which includes strategic planning, e-learning and mobile learning, curriculum development, program assessment, policy development, and international educational programs and partnerships.

Professor Raymond A. Jacobs, Ph.D

Dr. Raymond Jacobs, associate dean and professor of management in the Dauch College of Business & Economics, joined the Ashland University faculty in 1990. Dr. Jacobs previously served as chair of the MBA program, and is currently the assessment coordinator for the college. He has published articles in several journals on a range of topics, including management science, decision sciences and production and operations management, and has made numerous presentations at national and regional conferences. He has taught a wide variety of courses, primarily in operations management, management and management information systems. Dr. Jacobs received a M.S. in operations research and systems analysis and a Ph.D. in business administration, in the area of operations management, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a B.A. in economics and mathematics/computer science from the College of William & Mary.

Dr. Victoria Kaskey, associate professor of accounting, joined Ashland University in 2008 after 17 years in corporate accounting. She is active in online learning methods and deliveries and has published and presented articles extensively in this area. Dr. Kaskey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Baldwin-Wallace College, a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and a Ph.D. in organizational management from Capella University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner and teaches classes in both the undergraduate and graduate programs in managerial accounting, fraud accounting and auditing.

Professor Terry Rumker, assistant professor of finance, joined the faculty in 1989. He is a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) and earned a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University. Teaching areas include personal finance, investments and corporate finance. In addition, he is a partner and sole proprietor of two companies that work with organizations nationally in the area of financial literacy and life skills. He is a co-author of two books as well as a developer of interactive financial and life skills software. Prior to joining the university faculty, he worked for Fidelity Investments and was a general manager for Bob Evans restaurants.

Rebecca enjoyed 12 years of sales management with Procter and Gamble’s California and Arizona markets and P&G’s Wal-Mart Global Customer Team. She led many and various initiatives in team management, resource allocation, third party contract negotiations, operations management and process improvement, organization redesign, training and development, university recruiting and HR policy improvement. Her community service includes leadership on non-profit boards in Los Angeles, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Cincinnati and Medina, Ohio. She earned a B.A. in journalism from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. She has enjoyed teaching management theory and marketing at University of Arkansas and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.

Dr. Robert Stoll is the chair of the Department of Management, International Business, Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship. Bob is an assistant professor of operations and supply chain management. Bob earned both B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. from Cleveland State University in operations and supply chain management. He has extensive industrial experience as an engineer, plant manager, general manager and technical director. His research has focused on supply chain management. He is the president of the APICS Cleveland Chapter. Dr. Stoll joined Ashland University in 2012.

Dr. Venkataramany joined Ashland University in 1999. He received his MBA, M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. His teaching specializations involve courses in international business, international finance, multinational strategy and emerging markets. His research focuses on foreign direct investment in developing economies, international banking and micro-finance. He received the mentor award during the 2004-05 academic year.

Dr. Debra Westerfelt is an associate professor of business management in the Dauch College of Business & Economics. Dr. Westerfelt earned a Bachelor of Science in business education from Ashland University, a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in business education from The Ohio State University. She teaches Organizational Behavior and Organizational Design in the MBA program. In the BSBA program, she is the lead professor for Business Communications. Dr. Westerfelt has presented at the Lilly Conference on College Teaching at Miami University, the OBTC Conference at Babson College and the Midwest Sciences Decisions Regional Conference, to name a few. Her publications appear in the Organizational Leadership and Management Journal, the Business Education Innovation Journal and the College & University Journal.
